Finance Officer: Two positions were established to perform key responsibilities for DOMA’s financial operations. Candidates for this critical support function must be knowledgeable about handling the end-to-end processing of accounts receivable, performing daily journal postings, managing balance sheet accounts and processing debtor and creditor invoices. The role also required competency in using various essential software tools and systems, including Excel, Opera, and Micros.

Reservation Agent: For this client-facing role, DOMA required a candidate who could communicate well in both verbal and written form. This agent would be responsible for explaining relevant hotel products, services and other information, answering incoming calls, creating guest reservations and processing all reservation requests, changes and cancellations in a timely manner. Additionally, the agent would perform basic accounting procedures such as following up with outstanding accounts and processing advance deposits.

Senior Bookkeeper: To ensure the accuracy of financial records, this meticulous role was identified for DOMA to perform crucial daily tasks including daily reconciliations of bank accounts, processing creditor invoices and payments, reconciling company credit card statements and managing invoices to debtors. Certain administrative tasks would also be assigned, such as reporting and providing detailed financial insights, managing essential email communications and ensuring all financial documents are up-to-date and accessible.

Finance Officer: Through the Finance Officers’ expertise, they were able to significantly improve DOMA’s financial workflows and overall cash flow management. This allowed the onshore accounting team to focus more on high-level financial tasks, enhancing internal collaboration and also accelerating revenue capture for DOMA Group.

Reservation Agent: The presence of a Reservation Agent delivered a clear competitive advantage in customer service. At the front end, client enquiries and concerns were given immediate attention; while at the back end, processing bookings and reservations were managed efficiently. These led to significant operational improvements and higher customer satisfaction.

Senior Bookkeeper: The Senior Bookkeeper’s focus on data hygiene and comprehensive financial reconciliation directly translated to reduced risk and improved data confidence. DOMA’s financial executives were able to shift their attention from auditing and reviewing to strategic forecasting and driving well-informed financial decisions.
