Modern Slavery Statement
Last Updated: 24 August 2026
Our Commitment
Twoconnect is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and in a way that respects human rights.
We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, including slavery, servitude, forced labour, debt bondage, human trafficking, deceptive recruitment, child labour, forced marriage and other forms of exploitation.
Our approach is designed to reduce the risk of modern slavery across our operations, supply chains and business relationships.
About Twoconnect
Twoconnect is an Australian-owned managed offshoring partner providing services to clients across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and other markets.
Our service model includes talent sourcing, executive search, onboarding, employment support, HR administration, IT coordination, performance support, client success and ongoing delivery management.
Because our operations span Australia and the Philippines and involve offshore workforce arrangements, we recognise the importance of managing modern slavery risks through practical controls and responsible business practices.
Our People
Our business depends on ethical employment, lawful recruitment, transparent working conditions and long-term workforce retention.
We are committed to ensuring that workers engaged directly or indirectly through Twoconnect are treated fairly, paid lawfully, employed voluntarily and protected from exploitation.
Our employment standards include:
- Clear employment terms and conditions
- Lawful and transparent remuneration
- Appropriate management of working hours, leave and overtime
- No improper recruitment fees charged to candidates
- No withholding of identity or personal documents as a condition of employment
- The right to resign in accordance with lawful requirements
- Fair handling of employee concerns without retaliation
Responsible Recruitment
We recognise recruitment as an important area of modern slavery risk.
Twoconnect is committed to ensuring that employment is entered into freely and based on clear contractual terms. Candidates should receive appropriate information about their role, remuneration, work location and employment conditions before commencing employment.
We do not support deceptive recruitment, coercive employment arrangements, improper recruitment fees or practices that restrict a worker’s ability to make informed employment decisions.
Suppliers and Business Partners
Modern slavery risks can extend beyond our direct operations. We therefore expect suppliers, contractors and business partners to operate ethically and comply with applicable labour, employment, anti-slavery and human rights laws.
Where appropriate, we may assess suppliers based on factors such as geography, industry, service type and labour risk. We may also request information about labour practices, recruitment channels, subcontractors and relevant compliance controls.
Where reasonable assurance cannot be provided, Twoconnect may decline, suspend or terminate a business relationship.
Client Relationships
Our clients play an important role in the working environment of our offshore employees.
We expect clients to treat Twoconnect employees professionally, lawfully and respectfully. We will not support client requirements that create unlawful, unsafe or exploitative working conditions including excessive work demands, unpaid work expectations, discriminatory treatment, harassment, coercion or unreasonable pressure.
Where concerns arise, Twoconnect may investigate and take appropriate corrective action, including escalation, service restrictions or termination of the engagement.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage employees, contractors, candidates, suppliers and business partners to report concerns relating to modern slavery, exploitation, unsafe work, coercion, recruitment misconduct or unethical labour practices.
Concerns may be raised through appropriate internal reporting channels, including management, People and Culture, Client Services, Service Delivery leadership, senior management or approved reporting and whistleblower channels.
Reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially where possible. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is not tolerated.
Response and Remediation
Where a suspected or actual modern slavery issue is identified, Twoconnect will take appropriate action based on the nature and severity of the matter.
This may include investigation, engagement with affected individuals, corrective action, suspension of relevant activities, recovery of improper fees where applicable, referral to legal or regulatory authorities, termination of business relationships and review of internal controls.
Our response prioritises worker safety, lawful conduct and practical remediation.
Training and Awareness
Twoconnect provides appropriate awareness and guidance to employees and managers whose roles may involve modern slavery risk, including those involved in recruitment, supplier management, client services, HR, operations, finance, technology and leadership.
Training and awareness activities may cover modern slavery indicators, ethical recruitment, supplier risks, employee welfare, reporting channels and manager responsibilities.
Governance and Continuous Improvement
Oversight of our modern slavery approach sits with the Managing Director and senior leadership team with operational responsibility shared across relevant business functions.
We regularly review our modern slavery controls as our business, supplier relationships, client requirements and risk profile evolve.
Monitoring may include supplier reviews, employee and candidate feedback, incident and complaint trends, client conduct escalations, internal audits and compliance reviews.
We recognise that modern slavery risk management requires ongoing vigilance and continuous improvement rather than a one-time compliance exercise.
Responsible Business Practices
Twoconnect is committed to building a global workforce that is not only achievable and sustainable but also built on ethical employment, responsible business practices and respect for human rights.
We will continue to strengthen our approach to identifying, preventing and addressing modern slavery risks across our operations and business relationships.
